The Veaki Higher Private School of Dramatic Art completed forty years of continuous and successful operation in the academic year 2014-15 and is a solid value in the field of theatre education. It was founded in 1974 by Dimitris Veakis, actor and son of Aimilios Veakis, the oldest Greek actor to date, and is the organic continuation of the Theatre School of director Kostis Michaelides, founded in 1952. As one of the oldest schools in Greece, it has experience, responsibility and insight in terms of its programming and goals.
