This text titled "Terms of Use and Privacy Policy" is addressed to anyone who wishes to visit the pages of unstage.gr or use its services. Wherever in this text you read the terms "the site", "the platform", "the application", "the services of unstage.gr" these will refer collectively as "unstage.gr". Any natural or legal person who visits the pages of unstage.gr or uses its services, for brevity in this document is referred to as "user". How we collect and use information

We collect user information at various points on the platform. We do not sell or rent this information to third parties in ways other than those mentioned in this document. In cases where a credit card number is required for purchasing products or services, unstage.gr uses a direct link to widely recognized banks. These do not keep, share, disclose or use personal data of users, nor are they entitled to use personal information for purposes other than providing the service in question.

What personal data we collect

When the user registers for the unstage service, only their email address is collected. This is the only personal data that is necessary for the user's registration to the service. The user can, if they choose, provide unstage with additional personal data such as their full name and gender, through their profile settings page. The user's additional personal details are not necessary for using the unstage service, they are used to extract statistics about our users.

Data retention and deletion

We retain our users' personal data for as long as necessary to provide them with the unstage service, as well as for legitimate and substantial business purposes, such as maintaining the performance of the unstage service, making business decisions based on data regarding new features and offers, for compliance with our legal obligations and for resolving disputes. If the user requests it, we will delete or anonymize their personal data so that they can no longer be identified, unless the law allows us otherwise or requires us to retain certain personal data, including cases such as the following:

  • If there is an unresolved issue regarding the user's account, a pending credit to their account or an unresolved claim or dispute, we will retain the necessary personal data until the issue is resolved
  • Where we are required to retain the user's personal data for legal, tax, audit and accounting purposes, we will retain the necessary personal data for the period required by applicable law, and/or
  • Where necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention or maintaining the security of our users.
Our users can ask us to delete or anonymize their personal data by sending an email to [email protected] and requesting their deletion or anonymization.

How we handle cookies

We use cookies for the proper functioning of the platform and the services it provides. Cookies are small pieces of information that are sent to the user's device (mobile phone or computer). For example, we could use a cookie to store the user's profile settings. The unstage.gr platform uses two types of cookies: (1) "session cookies" and (2) "persistent cookies". The use of "session cookies" stops when the user closes their browser, while "persistent cookies" are retained on the user's device even when they close their browser and are used the next time they visit the unstage.gr platform.

Why we use cookies

By creating a user account on the unstage.gr platform, the user agrees that they are fully responsible for all actions performed using their account. Additionally, we may assume that any communication we receive from the user's account has actually originated from them.

How we handle cases of unauthorized use of platform accounts

The user understands and agrees to provide us with any information we may need to confirm their identity and help ensure authorized access to their account. The unstage.gr platform bears no responsibility for any data loss, damage (financial or material) or legal costs that may arise to the user from unauthorized use of their account by third parties, regardless of whether the user notified us or not about such unauthorized use. The platform newsletter

In order for the user to subscribe to the newsletters of the unstage.gr platform, they must register a valid email address. This is used to send the newsletter and other informational messages to registered users.

The unstage.gr platform contains links to other websites at various points, for whose content it bears no responsibility. It also bears no responsibility for any collection of personal information from them.

How we handle user surveys

From time to time we request information from our users through surveys. Participation in these surveys is voluntary and users have the choice of whether to provide the requested information or not. The information collected from these surveys serves to better understand our platform's audience as well as to improve the services it offers.

What we do for the security of our information and provided services

We take every possible measure to ensure the services offered by unstage.gr. For this reason, we encrypt the data transferred from our platform's web server to the user's browser with the ssl cryptographic protocol. Additionally, we encrypt (and cannot read in plain text) all passwords that the user creates on the unstage.gr platform.

Changes to our Policy

From time to time we may revise this Policy, but the most recent version will always be available at https://www.unstage.gr/terms. If we determine that a revision is significant, we will notify you via email using the address you have declared in your account. In any case, by using our services you accept this Policy and are bound by its terms.
