The year 2017 now defines the space and time for Eleusina in a different way. We vigorously claimed and won the title of European Capital of Culture for 2021. Our city has been radicalized in Europe and not only, time has thickened, that we have not achieved in the previous years, we can achieve it within the next five. The stereotype of the degraded city is pushed aside by the dynamic presence of Eleusis, a city that knows, wants and can be transformed into a sustainable and creative entity, a model to be imitated. Culture is becoming a way of life in the city of Eleusis and is at the core of every effort for social, environmental and economic upgrading.
