A festival that every year transforms Kerameikos into a neighborhood full of art and joy! This year is the 7th year it takes place and the program is rich and promising: it includes exhibitions of jewelry, vintage sunglasses, photography, experiential workshops, seminars and theatrical performances. See each day's syllabus at http://www.fabricaathens.gr/home/ With the central slogan “taking art into our own hands”, the Handmade and Recyclable Theatre Festival aims to support young artists, promote DIY creations and develop a network of artists who share a common way of thinking, perception and creation. Artists and the public meet, share their ideas and knowledge, create together and enjoy their art and creations together. At this year's Festival we will be able to enjoy a wide variety of events: exhibitions in the foyer (jewelry, recycling clothing, handmade creations, notebook, recycling clothing, handmade creations, etc.), performances (theater, dance, clown, performance, but also one for a performance for babies!), film screenings, one extensive workshop program (clowns, stilts, yoga, Suzuki training, improvisation, verdic art, Theatre of Research, etc.), but also a party with a different dj set every day in the courtyard of Fabrica Athens!
