A three-day 12-hour masterclass on the art of theatrical comedy, led by the unique Eleni Gerasimidou. For young actors, graduates and students of drama schools.
A special opportunity for young actors and students of drama schools to be introduced to the keys and codes of theatrical comedy, under the guidance of the great Eleni Gerasimidou, is offered by the three-day seminar, which will take place on 25, 26 and 27 August 2025, in the atmospheric space of the courtyard of the theater Together.
The masterclass lasts 12 hours and focuses on techniques and tools required to interpret a comic role: humor, immediacy, rhythm, correct measure, exaggeration, misunderstanding, improvisation and technique. All these elements will be explored through practical work and experiential exercises, with the aim of highlighting the expressive potential of each participant.
Participants are invited to have prepared a comic monologue from the world theatre repertoire — with particular preference for modern Greek theatre plays — while they will be invited to improvise in surprise stages-with an unknown partner, on dialogues that will be given during the seminar.
Eleni Gerasimidou's experience — with decades of experience in comedy and theatre — promises a three-day journey full of knowledge, practical work and humour. The number of participants will be limited and order of priority will be observed.
