Piraeus Municipal Theatre bids farewell to Spring with music, theatre and dance through a new cycle of online screenings at www.dithepi.gr Music On May 13, the festival era is digitally inaugurated, which aspires to turn the last month of Spring into a month of contemporary music, introducing us to new musical writings by Greek and foreign composers. At éar21, three of the most important domestic musical ensembles are inspired by the spaces and architecture of the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus: the ArtéFacts ensemble presents a video - concert entitled Just That! nothing else, the Ergon Ensemble performs Olivier Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time, one of the most iconic chamber music works of the 20th century, and the restless ensemble TETTIX collaborates with directors Konstantinos Samaras and Daphne Hailetakis to create the musical film Nora Tettaki Tix Theatre Two works from the repertoire of the ITHP for 2020/2021, which were not able to be uploaded to the new Omega Stage, are shown online. The Woman of Zakythos by Dionysios Solomos, directed by Angela Bruskou, premieres online on May 24th. She herself signs the design of the set space and costumes.
