After the sold out performances, Aristos continues his journey after Easter
The play “Aristos” directed by Giorgos Papageorgiou is extended and continues after Easter with new days and hours of performances.
The award-winning novel by Thomas Korovinis, whose central theme is the life of Aristides Pagratides, the alleged “Dragon of Sheikh Soo”, is being staged at the New World Theatre, directed by George Papageorgiou.
Nine characters associated with Aristides Pagratides, through their rambling, evocative confessions, speaking different languages, depending on their experiences, character and role, compose the profile of “Aristos”.
The friend from Touba, his mother's enslaved neighbor, a port porter, the paracratic promenade attendant, a gendarme of democratic views, a conservative beach bourgeois, his boss at a popular festival, the transvestite Lolo and a folk singer (his two loves), performed on stage by three actors (Eleni Ouzounidou, Michalis Economou, Giorgos Christodoulou).
