Premiere for the Radio Days of Athens and Epidaurus Festival
The Radio Plays of the Athens Festival begin on Tuesday 8 December with the Korydallos of the Americas Square in Philipos.
This December, the Athens Festival & Epidaurus presents a new project, combining radio theater with police literature and jazz music. Five new acoustic works, based on Greek crime stories, full of unsolved murders, love passions and professional jealousies, blackmail and financial intrigues, quirky detectives and charming personas. More than 60 artists and artists participate in Radio Plays: directors, actors, musicians and writers. For all the works, original jazz compositions have been written by outstanding musicians, which give the works a noir atmosphere of mystery. Every Tuesday, a new Radio Play will simultaneously premiere on Lifo podcasts and greekfestival.gr, where it will remain, with free listening for all. The broadcasts will begin on Tuesday, December 8, at 19:00, with the short story by Filippos Filippou “The Crests of the Square of America”, directed by Dimitris Katalifos.
