A new song, entitled "Karvounaki", is released by OGDOO MUSIC GROUP, with music by Christos Papadopoulos and lyrics by Nikolas Benopoulos, performed by the band Acharnais.

Christos Papadopoulos, a renowned musician and composer with many hits to his credit such as "Archipelagos", "I always celebrate when I'm in pain" and "Love's dagger", gives us a genuine folk song with an old-time atmosphere, where the sound of the bouzouki dominates. The lyrics of Nikolas Benopoulos, simple and strong, tell the eternal struggle of life with death.

Acharnes, a folk band formed in 2023-24 by five experienced musicians, have already left their mark on the music scenes of Athens. The band includes two bouzoukis, guitar, bass and percussion, with their sound paying homage to traditional folk singing, which comes from the jukeboxes of taverns and nightclubs.

"Karvounaki" is their first official recording, now available on digital platforms.
