A young educated woman, faced with chronic unemployment and an uncertain relationship, leaves Greece to work as a nanny for a well-to-do family in Germany. A tragic development brings to the fore the different worlds of the two protagonists: one, a Northern European, struggles to balance her work life with motherhood, while the other, a Southern European, faces economic insecurity and an unexpected pregnancy.
