Synopsis

The film is a family drama, starring Dimitris, owner of a cafe in Korydallos. All the incidents unfold during a hot summer day. Dimitris, with the help of George - brother of Dimitris's wife, Maria - discuss some professional projects they have in common. George declares that he is leaving them and the two men quarrel. When George leaves, Maria approaches Dimitris and they begin a heated discussion about their adult children — Luke and Kiki — while she informs him of her opinion that his business plan will fail. Soon after, Maria, angered by Dimitri's move to slap Kiki, argues with him once again and reveals to him that Kiki is not his child. Dimitris is shocked by the revelation and leaves the house. In the evening of the same day, Vangelis, an employee in Dimitris's shop, brings home the drunk Dimitris who, under the influence of the drink, says incoherent words. Attempts to bring him back are fruitless. Finally, an exhausted Dimitris tells George that they will postpone their plans.
