The film takes us to the Haidari concentration camp before May Day, 44, to tell us the story of the extremely brave act of Napoleon Sucatzides, who, although a leftist and a prisoner, is forced to perform duties as an interpreter for the German commander Karl Fischer. He, although a fanatical supporter of Nazism, has a special sympathy for the young man, because he reminds him of a childhood friend, for whose death he himself was responsible.
