In the film Stelios Kazantzidis gives an interview to a young journalist in the late 1970s, in which he recounts episodes from his life, such as his relationship with his father, who was murdered by partisan nationalists, his brother and mother, his difficult youth life, his relationship with Katie Grey and Marinella, his struggles with record labels, his retirement from nightclubs and his return to discography with the album I Exist.
