Short Biography
Esther Andre Gonzalez was born in Mexico. After finishing her studies at the National School of Drama of Mexico, she continues in Paris, at the JacquesleCoq School and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique, with MichelBouquet. Finishing her studies at the Nouvelle Sorbonne, she attends seminars with Yoshi Oida “Du geste à la parole”, with Tapa Sudana, “Masques balinais”, with Pierre Debauche “Théâtre, un nouveau répertoire”, with Philippe Hottier “Clown et Jeu masqué” and with E. Chailloux's “Tradition et modernité”. He attends seminars related to traditional theater: Théâtre-dancekathakali, with Balakrishnam and Karuna Karan, Théâtre Balinese-Topeng with I. Made DJImat and Cristina Wistari, Opéra de Pékin with Pei Yanling and M. Guo, L'art du Griot with Sotigui Kouyaté, Commedia dell'Arte with Carlo Boso. She continues her professional training in singing and musical technique with Tamia Valmont, in Musical Theater with Oscar Sisto, in Korean Drums, tchango, with Jai-Kin, in Paris, and in Japan, in Japanese Drums with Eiichi Saito Kodo Foundation.
Since 1990 he has been conducting Masterclasses for actors in Europe, as well as at the Universities of Monterrey and Mexico. In Greece, he has taught theatre at the Theatre of Changes, the French Institute and the Akis Davis Drama School. Since 2008 he has been teaching at the Theatre School of Delos.
