It's the third Mamet work I've seen on stage and I think it's the toughest and sharpest of them all. As usual in his writings Mamet touches on social issues, common to all societies, unchanged and probably more intensely with the passage of time, in the course of humanity. In “Edmond” these issues are touched upon without any hesitation, no reservations, no attempt to cover and highlight them through allusions. Racism, discrimination of all kinds, violence, oppression, social conventions, deprivation of man. And most importantly, no indication that the world is getting better, despite improving educational and living standards. Only the wish “one day this world will be better.” Excellent direction by Mrs. M. Calvary, I think he put the work in an even sharper context in order to emphasize Mamet's speech. This was especially helped by the clever scenery of Mrs. X. Calvary. Excellent performances, excellent Mr. Perlegas in the very demanding role of Edmond. The music from N. It's green. I highly recommend it, it is an extremely strong show!

I had the pleasure of watching at the Art Theater the performance EDMOND by D. Mamet and thank you very much for the opportunity you gave me. A powerful project that touches on social issues, violence, racism. Clever direction by Ms. M. Calvary. Excellent Mr. G. Perlegas as Edmond. Congratulations to Ms. K. Takalou and to Mr. St. Kalliga. Great and the rest of the actors for the flawless result. A show worth seeing for so many messages it gives. Finally, the music of the show is great.
Sincerely

It's an extremely powerful show! Edmund is a hero of ours, the average man in Western society who has learned to pay to get what he wants and considers that everyone owes him something. Out of fear of living free he becomes racist, violent, misogynistic and eventually reaches murder.Excellent performances and especially by Mr. Perlega in the role of Edmond.Congratulations to all the actors for this so demanding performance.I cannot of course miss the music so appropriate.
