The musical theatre performance “Light” is presented on Sundays at Ghetto Bar and more, at 8 Evmilou Street (next to the Smart & Hotel) behind the PPE), in Patras. It is a musical theatre play set in the dream of a little girl who falls asleep reminiscing about her childhood that she had to “chase away”, her lost dreams and her desire to find the light that will bring her everything she dreams about and everything she needs. In his dream, the little girl, sees scenes from the harsh world in which we live and so with a hope of flooding his heart, decides to change today's society. Obstacle to him are five black-clad women, who, although they are (according to the director) a degraded Dance (like that of the ancient tragedy), at the same time identifies them with the Supreme “Tyrannical” power of the world that rules us. Their goal is to eliminate the little girl so that they can argue with their “silence” about which of the five is the leader of them all. A show written entirely for the Ghetto space that combines with the ultimate balance Drama and Comedy, with a “note” of dance and song. The viewer will “oscillate” between laughter and sadness and will search within himself “to find the light itself and try to interpret it.” The story and direction are signed by Giorgos Solos, a young artist, whose desire is to “awaken” the viewer in order to urge him to pursue his dreams and with these resources, to run towards absolute happiness with the aim of transforming the world into a beautiful place.
