Clever directing that created immediacy and intimacy with the audience. The last period of Calla's life is presented, revealing not only her undoubted talent, but her psyche in the most painful and perhaps vulnerable phase of her life. A psychographic, a human approach to the legend of Calla that the protagonist supports in a deeply moving way.
