The series presents the life of a strong couple of Hector and Myrtos Anagnostos after their separation. Eros was the television program that replaced the series The Shining, which ended in the summer of 2005 after 14 years of continuous airing, when the station ANT1 decided to discontinue the second series from its daily program.
