Twenty years ago, a family lived through every parent's worst nightmare. Manos, the 4-year-old son of Orestes and Elena, disappears under unclear circumstances, during an excursion. Despite the desperate efforts of the family and the local community, the little boy goes missing. In the harrowing years that follow, Elena is the only one who hopes that her son will be found and alive, while no one else in the family hopes with her. She closes in on herself and neglects her husband and children, who grow up with the sole support of their father who tries to keep the family together. Suddenly, twenty years later, a young man appears and claims to be Manos, the child they have been looking for all these years. Everyone will question him, except his mother, Elena, who is sure that her prayers have been answered. The return of Manos divides the family and opens the ascetic of Aeolos. Unanswered questions and dark secrets come to light, a love of exile doomed, while an avalanche of revelations threatens to drown them all.
