After the love correspondence of Antonis Kostoulas, a volunteer soldier in the Archipelagos Division, with the tender Myrsini, a teacher of the Mytilene Parthenagogue, we follow the steps of the political developments that lead us to the First World War, but also in general. we take a timeless look at the inhumane conditions and catastrophic futility of every war. A wonderfully sensitive love story that grows like “a poppy” in the gloomy trenches.
