Andreas, a low-paid employee at a multinational corporation, has the privilege of owning a small apartment near his office. So when his boss asks him for the key to his apartment on the pretext that he wants to rest at lunch—actually to go with his mistress—Andreas' life changes. The key becomes the secret of his ascent. As the key moves up the corporate hierarchy, so does Andrew. When the key reaches the General Manager of the company, Andreas discovers with horror that the girl, with whom he is in love, will visit his apartment with the General Manager. Then the problems begin...
