Series directed by Manousou Manousakis. ERT The short story by Alexandros Papadiamantis tells the story of an elderly woman, Skevos, who, when she learns that her son (Stavros) is sick, disguises herself as a man and becomes a warden (guard) on the sporkas (ships that were quarantined because of her cholera) in order to save her son. After many adventures and dangers, in the end, Stavros is cured, the quarantine ends and they return, happy, to Skiathos. The script of the series, consisting of four episodes, was written by Stavros Avdoulos and Irene Ritsoni. In the role of the central heroine of the series, the old woman Skevos, we will see Renia Louizidou, while the role of her son, Stavros, is played by George Savvidis. Rainio, Stavros's girl, is played by Jenny Kazakou. Takis Vamvakidis appears as Barba-Nikas, Pavlos Kourtidis as Captain Constantis, Petros Xekoukis as Hercheris etc. Rinios' mother and Hercheris' wife Vasiliki are played by Maria Kavoukidou.
