The Athens Festival & Epidaurus has been active for 62 years now (it was founded in 1955). It is held every summer and some of the most important names in theatre, dance and music have passed through it. The current management of the festival has tried to reinvigorate in it youthful dynamism and extroversion. In this effort, in 2017 she inaugurated two new institutions, “Epidaurus Lyceum” and “Opening in the City”.
