A vision that does not exhaust itself in the usual tourist practices, but invests in culture, education and alternative tourism, by carrying out actions and artistic events that aim to educate and enhance the visibility of island Greece, the ancient and modern history of Santorini, as well as the of the materials and cultural goods it has to offer to visitors arriving from all over the world. Simultaneously with the Festival, within the same space, the Tomato Industrial Museum “D. Nomikos”, which presents visitors with a historical overview of the place of Santorini and its traditions, focusing on the process of production and processing of Santorini tomatoes, exactly where the machinery of the old Factory has been housed since 1945. It also hosts in its premises a shop with selected samples of Greek design, small works of art, jewelry, books, music, as well as local products from small producers.
