Actress Noni Ioannidou spoke about her career, but also the death of her composer husband, Akis Triantafyllou Ogrigoris Arnaoutoglou welcomed Noni Ioannidou on “The 2Night Show” in a rare TV interview. The beloved actress looks back on the past and refers to her decision to give up her career in the National Theatre and television, to live “ascetically” by her husband's side, in a small house in Parnassos. The actress who is remembered as Amalia Angelidou in the legendary series “Glampsi”, revealed about her role: “At first I had refused, because I was too cultured. I refused the role brazenly. Then I realized that whatever you do with your best self, then you're in. My perspective has changed. So I got to the point in the last six months of being there and having a really good time.” The actress then referred to the loss of her composer and guitarist husband Akis Triantafyllou: “I lost my husband three and a half years ago and I felt that time was lost overnight. You feel young, impetuous, full of strength and much more, but the shell changes somewhat and reminds you a little. He may have passed away, but he's still with me, here near me. He's next to me and inside me. To my husband I owe most of what I came to be, because he loved me so much that he did not want to change me. He wanted to guide me. He was also my teacher. When he left, the earth beneath my feet was gone. I'm lost. But because I was taught so much by his side, I also learned secondment. That you are not caught above the other, you are selfish and you have to stand.”
