“The Box”, the iconic work of Aris Alexandros, is presented for the third year in a row at Studio Mavromichalis, directed by Fotis Makris and Cleopatra Tologou, with Fotis Makris in the central role.From the beginning of the performances (November 26, 2015), “The Box” was framed by A series of discussions with the audience after the end of each show. Important figures from different spheres of public life were invited to these discussions, who approached Alexander's work and the issues arising from it in their own way, highlighting its implications to date. The series of discussions with the audience continues this year, with Manos Stefanidis, an associate professor at the Department of Theatre Studies of EKPA, invited on Friday, April 27, 2018. Small CV Manos Stefanidis was born in Piraeus in 1954. He studied archaeology at the University of Athens. He trained at the Kunstmuseum in Dusseldorf and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC. He is a doctor of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. For 25 years he was the curator of the National Gallery. In 2004 he was elected a lecturer at the University of Athens and in 2005 a member of the Society of Authors. In 2006 he was elected assistant professor at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki but did not accept the position. He currently teaches History of Art at the Athens School of Philosophy, Department of Theatre Studies as an Associate Professor. * The show “The Box” is played every Friday at 21:00
