Birth: in Athens

Giorgos Nanouris was born in Athens. With studies at Drama School of the Athens Conservatory, Department of Theatre Studies, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Athens.

He graduated from the Drama School of the Athens Conservatory and the Department of Theatre Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Athens. She has performed, among others, in: “Reality” staged by Ann. Bruskou (Pallas), “On Stage” (Athens Festival), “Chorika” (Alte Opera Frankfurt) directed by S. Kraounaki, “Birds” directed by T. Moumoulidi (DI.PE.THE Patras), “Filoktitis” directed by G. Iordanidis (Thessalian Theatre), “The Sin of My Mother” directed by I. Siamou (Metaxourgio), “Oresteia” directed by G. Kokkou (National Theater). He has directed the performances: Gris Ileven, in his own texts at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, 15 Minutes by S. Serefa at the 1st Low Budget Festival and the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, One night your gift, get bored in the Athens Festival Caravan, The Stone of Patience of A. Rahimi at the Chora Theatre, Here at the Athens Festival, Theatre in a Caravan and at K44, Cartesios by T. Pellegrini at the Athens Concert Hall, Dream for Two by Guy Foissy at the Emos Theatre and participated as an actor and director in 24 Hours Play at the Chora Theatre. He has taken part in the TV series: “Love Story (1993)” on ANT1, “The Color of the Moon (1996)” on ANT1, “Taksim (2000)” on ET1, “Secrets of Eden (2008)” on Mega, “If Loves Than Not Having (2010)” on Mega, as well as in episodes of independent series “10th Commandment” in Alpha, and “Taurus with Sagittarius (1994)” in ANT1. In the cinema, she participated in the films “Blue Dress” by G. Diamantopoulos (nominated for the 1st male role award at Mostra Valencia, Spain, 2006-2007) and “Correction” by T. Anastopoulos, 2008. In 2004, he taught speech education at the American College of Athens. From 2003 to 2007, she taught acting and improvisation at the Drama School “Iasmos — Theatrical Events” and in 2006-07 in the Program “Expression”, which dealt with theater in primary education, in cooperation with the National Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Municipality of Athens.
