Synopsis
Spyros Steriadis directs “Andrikela”, a documentary theatre performance that illuminates the stories and thoughts of five men who died unexpectedly and brutally when they found themselves in front of the street of dark figures of “bravery”. So how are “dummies” made? And what would their victims say if they had the chance to face us again? People who were lost in an instant. Without knowing why. People we met after they died. When we started looking for why. Little names that became familiar when no one would listen to them anymore. Zak, Antonis, Alexis, Vangelis, Sahzat. Identities that became stereotypes and stereotypes that became weapons of murder. From Monday, November 25 and every Monday and Tuesday, until December 17, at the “Michalis Cacoyannis” Foundation, Piraeus 206, tauros.ContributesArrest & Directing: Spyros SteriadisResearch Curation: Angeliki SpanouText: Spyros Steriadis, Dora FilippaOriginal Music: Giorgos RigasCostume Design & Video editing: Giota SiapkaLighting: Spyros SteriadisAssistant Director: Maria SakellariPhotos: Tony KrisPrinted material design: Kostas Kohaimidis Performers: Thodoris Loufopoulos, Spyros Steriadis, Apostolos Tzikas, Dora Filippa.
