Synopsis
Short Stories of Murder is a modular spectacle with elements of tragicomedy.
The play consists of a succession of theatrical stories.
It takes place inside a cell where a former journalist is kept. There she is approached by a new writer - a colleague of hers and invites her to read his new book about true murder stories, in order to convince her to tell her own bitter story in the end.
Each narrative unfolds individually and independently, without one person and his own perception of events ever directly interacting with the other. Thus, in a way, we are witnessing a series of posthumous “trials”, where victim and perpetrator (qualities not necessarily clearly delineated) have the opportunity to apologize without fear of condemnation and condemnation, share their personal truth, and possibly alleviate the guilt and stigma that burdens them and they hunt to the grave, claiming even in retrospect a prospect of vindication
