Synopsis
The short stories about savages by the French writer and pedagogue Bernard Frio, directed by Maria Savvidou, returns to the Mikro Ethniko.
Frio's stories stem from a rare gift for touching on the most important, the biggest and most sensitive issues in a light way that does not lack depth. With their bold and sensitive look, with their lightness and humor they address issues of everyday life, relationships, discoveries, secrets and conflicts of our youth. A show that gives colorful voice to what, sometimes, can hardly be said behind the closed doors of our teenage room.
Bernard Freuot, who worked for many years as an educator, studied the way children themselves tell their stories. This particular perspective, the play between reality and fantasy, has indirectly or directly inspired his own way of writing, and the author often uses original children's narratives as his primary material. Frio has written and translated more than 50 books for young readers, as well as for adults. His texts have been translated into German and Italian, and have won major awards.
