Synopsis

Thessaloniki Photobiennale 2018 in cooperation with KTHBE. On the occasion of Susan Meiselas's work “Reframing History”. A shocking story of a young soldier who returns from the front physically and mentally wounded. The monologue “Nicaragua - Incident 315” by Julias Ehea Martinez is in fact the testimony of a Sandinista “mentally ill because of war”. Martinez worked as an educator-social worker in a rehabilitation center for Civil War wounded in Nicaragua.
