Sandy Agrafioti, a woman accustomed to riches, loses everything and moves with her mother and children to a small neighborhood. There lives Manolis Arapostathis, an ordinary citizen, who works in a fish market and lives with his children and his current partner, Stella. At some point, they break up and start a friendly relationship. Sandy is looking for a job, but she can't find the right one, because she has no knowledge from anyone. Manolis proposes to her to work at the fish market, which she accepts despite her mother's objections. At the same time, Sandy's children get used to their new school, make friends and relationships and reconcile with Manolis' children. Slowly Manoli and Sandy's relationship begins to turn erotic. Obstacles to their relationship are Stella and along the way and Dionysus, Sandy's husband, who escaped from prison and pretends to have amnesia. At the end of the first cycle Manolis is ready to get engaged to Stella, and Sandy tries to reveal, as she had agreed with Manoli, their relationship.
However, in the second cycle we see that Stella and Manolis get engaged and Sandy did not have time to reveal their relationship. At the same time, Sandy regains her wealth, with Dionysus imprisoned, and moves into her old home. But while they have decided never to speak again, they meet on their vacation on an island, where Stella and Manolis have gone there for their honeymoon, while Sandy and her mom, Nenella, go on vacation. Perhaps fate wants them close, because they meet in three places on vacation. When they return to Athens, Sandy learns from Dionysis' lawyer that Dionysus has left her a dowry, including her old house and the fish market. Eventually, Manolis and Sandy have to work together for the fish market.
