The wealthy and eccentric Dimis Tsimikski Hoffman, son of Erieta Zaimi, donates his mother's last residence, the famous "Stables" in Kalamos. The state decides to turn them into a model women's prison, under the supervision of Dimitris Pavlatos, who has just returned from Paris and the direction of Roxanne Danou-Kouloubis, who, together with her secret affair, the chief warden Chronis Batsinila, illegally empties the food warehouses. Aris Zafolias, who poses as Hoffman's advisor, is actually a lawyer, with orders to catch Danou in the act. A few days after the arrival of the first prisoners, Pavlatos arrives at the Stables, who is an obstacle to Roxanne's plans, as he gives the prisoners great freedom by stopping the solitary confinement. A few days later, a new group of prisoners arrives at the prison at night, one of whom escapes and intends to escape, Melita Michael. Later, a strong love affair develops between Michael and Pavlatos, which reaches its climax at the end of the season as they run away together, leaving everyone else believing they are dead.
Season 2: Everyone believes that Pavlatos and Michael are dead, except for the three people who knew about their love: Aris Zafolia, now an assistant warden, prisoner Foto Bartzokas, who will be their future best man, and prisoner Francesca Salieri. Danu hangs around among the prisoners, but when her shenanigans are exposed she is sent to prison. Pavlatos and Michael try to find shelter to escape the police who are looking for them, and eventually they return to prison, where they get married. To take your mind off the story for a while, it is suggested that a play be staged in the prison. A complaint contradicts Michael's testimony that he has been held prisoner for so many months and Dimitris Pavlatos should be arrested. Eventually, the cops are persuaded to let him act in the play first and then arrest him. Little do they know, however, that all the prisoners, with the help of President Hoffman and Warden Zafolia, intend to escape. The final episode, alongside the play, shows the prisoners' group effort to escape, which they eventually succeed in doing. And so they all have the chance to start their lives again where they left off...
