The Center for Classical Drama and Drama (KEDRA) of Panteion University invites an audition for a workshop that will result in a performance of Aeschylus's Persians translated and directed by Yiagos Andreadis. This performance will begin with the opening of the renovated ancient theatre of Eretria as part of a pilot festival of the Ancient Drama Today programme, which will take place on 21-23 September and is supported by the Region of Central Greece. The performances will then continue in Athens, at the “Roes” theatre, and elsewhere in Greece. The invitation to audition concerns young professional Greek actresses who perform singing and dancing and also corresponding foreign actors with knowledge of the Greek language.
