“Kala azar” by Janis Rafaelidou in the competition program of the Rotterdam Film Festival
The first major festival in Europe, Rotterdam has announced this year's film titles in its main categories and among them we find four Greek films, 2 features and 2 short films.
Kala Azar will be screened in the Competition Program of the festival, is the first feature film by Janis Rafailidou and is described as a reflection on the paradox of the life cycle of organisms between different species, a film about existence, the boundaries between the living and the dead, the human and the non-human. The film stars Penelope Tsilika and Dimitris Lalos.
